PRIME CIRCLE PICNIC SHOWS

After a grueling tour schedule including festival appearances alongside Iron Maiden, Garbage, Slayer and Iggy Pop, Prime Circle is set to showcase their Deluxe Edition of Let the Night In. Gauteng fans will be rocked with two picnic style concerts at the Pretoria National Botanical Gardens on 13 August and the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens on 14 August 2016.

SANBI and Hilltop Live in association with TUKS FM Presents: Prime Circle – To the Roots. A two stop Botanical Gardens tour showing the band have not forgotten where they came from. These two shows are set to welcome back Prime Circle to South Africa and ushers in the outdoor shows that come with the changing of the Seasons. Multi award-winning band, Prime Circle continuously proves that after 15 years in the game, they are as relevant in the world of rock, as they have ever been.

The release of the 18-track Let the Night In – Deluxe Edition sees a further progression of the band’s ever-evolving rock sound, which has ventured into bold new places since Prime Circle was formed 15 years ago.

Prime Circle toured Europe during May and June, playing at the Rock im Revier festival in Dortmund and at Rockavaria festival in Munich, Germany whereafter they went on to play Rock in Vienna in Austria to rave reviews. Aside from appearing on the bill at these massive alternative rock/metal festivals, the band also performed in Hannover, Dresden, Leipzig, Flensburg, Hamburg, Freiburg, Saarbrücken and Mannheim during this period.

Upon their return to South Africa, Prime Circle are set to play at OppiKoppi 22: For the lovely young taken to THE UNSEA. These will be their first performances back on home soil/dust. The “Back to the Roots” Botanical gardens shows will then be their first family friendly shows.

Tickets for the concert are available Plankton.mobi at. Children under 12 can enter for free. Gates will open at 11h00 and the concert will end at approximately 17h00. Everyone is welcome to bring picnic baskets (no glass or alcohol) and blankets.  An on-site restaurant and tea garden are available; both serve alcoholic beverages.
