On her third album, Joyride, actress-turned-singer Tinashe shows off her range, singing high and low while playing sexy, snarky, flirty, and righteous—sometimes in the course of the same song. She veers into downtempo pop for “Stuck with Me” (featuring Little Dragon) and then floats alongside Ty Dolla $ign and French Montana on the dembow-descendant “Me So Bad.” The braggadocious “No Drama” pulls its horror-movie piano line from Atlanta trap, while the sultry “He Don’t Want It” is perfect for long drives.
