After his first two albums OP comes back with a desperately beautiful song on a man barricaded in his house waiting for an imminent flood ultimately due to climate change and global warming.
OUR RIVER is only piano and voice but you don’t miss any other instrument.
The Italian songwriter published his first album called Outinout Project (that’s why OP) in 2017 with 8 original songs, including the romantic Danced the sky and the wind, the dramatic Children of their dreams, the inspirational Soul scrubbing and the amusing Ban the sugar.

In the first album there is a tribute to Wystan Hugh Auden with the song of his famous poem Refugee Blues.
Outinout Project reminds of rock progressive music of 70s with reminiscences of artists like Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush and Roger Waters.
In 2019 OP issued No Water In My Lake, the second album, including the title track, the energetic Hunted Hunter and Number One and the poetic ballad Weary with toil, with lyrics of William Shakespeare taken from the Sonnets XXVII and XXVIII.
At the end of the album there is a surprising cover of a Genesis song, Afterglow.
When asked about his influences and inspiration, OP said “The second album reminds more of rock albums of 80s published by Bowie, Tears for Fears, Talk Talk”.
OUR RIVER is again a change of perspective and a further evolution for this eclectic songwriter. Waiting for new inspirational songs.
